While I don't disagree about the overall tone - I wasn't referring to anyone on this site. I was talking in general that alot of people have an attitude that they are allowed to be rude - indeed, that they have the right to be rude just because they purchased a license to a product. I was simply stating that the license doesn't absolve the owner of the need to be polite when dealing with mods/support people in general.
I wasn't attacking anyone. I apologize if it came across that way.
I think it is easy to forget ourselves when the attitudes and disrespect start getting thrown around. I myself have done the un-mod like thing and come un-glued in one of my own threads here because I was *provoked*, which was no excuse for my behavior. I should have known better but I let my temper get the best of me and I was wrong. It happens too easily around here anymore. That's all I was trying to point out. I apologize if it was taken any other way.
I finally figured out the best way to deal with the attutudes that sometimes get shown here ... I just ignore it. Most of the time things are said just to get some sort of a response. If we can all learn just to ignore the trouble-makers (and you'll notice I didn't mention your name at all sabret00the ), then most of the time they will back off and go about their business and it'll pass. I've met some great people on here that I couldn't stand when they first got here because they were full of piss and vinegar and ready to fight. But once they got into our community here and saw how things worked, then they fit right in and actually became an asset to the site (and I didn't mention your name here either Stefan. ).
That's right. Go ahead and pick on the old guy. Go ahead and enjoy it now because one of these days I won't be around for you guys to kick me around anymore and then what will you do?
