Look at the attachment and you will see what I am trying to achieve....

How can I squash the banner I have in the table right up into the corners so there are not the gaps around the edge. I already have cellpadding and cellspacing all set to 0.

It looks like you only have the border set to 0, not the cellspacing and cellpadding . Try this..
