Quoting quotes - allowing multiple quotes in a reply
Having shifted from Invision, I've found one of the biggest things missing from vBulletin is being able to quote quotes. For example, if someone has quoted a post in their new message, if I then quote that new post all I get in the quoted text is the last message - the stuff that the previous poster had quoted is stripped out.
With Invision, you can quote and quote and quote ad infinitum. This is very useful for long discussion threads, because you can follow a debate very easily. By stripping out earlier quotes you have people asking questions out of thin air which is difficult to follow. So my question is: how can I stop vBulletin stripping out all previous quotes except for the last one? When I hit the quote button, I just want it to quote everything that is in that post, no matter how many quote tags it has embedded in it. Any ideas? Cheers, Sandra |

Excellent, thank-you. vBulletin is the only forum software I know of that strips quotes out.
