Every day scientists are getting closer and closer to unlocking the secrets of the universe. The more they investigate, the more they understand. Now admittadly they don't know everything, but they know a hell of a lot, and none of it points in the direction of god at all... sorry.

The problem is that you're contradicting yourself. You're saying that we can't "just happen", but you're more than happy to assume that an allpowerful god, with the ability to do all this cool stuff did "just happen". Come on, the world does not work like that.

Now don't get me wrong, you believe in whatever you want, it's not like it's going to make any diffrence - but maybe you should try picking up some scientific littrature and you might have a better foundation on which to build your theories.

Hello Ninth Dimension

Well while i was just moving in these web i notice’s your thread.. And I liked to replay on you with a little bit story wishing you understand it well..

1st of all and before i start i want to say that i don't mention or have any attention to harm or been rude to any religion . and these is a personal view point only related to the 1 who post it ..

I am an Muslim but my grand mother are Christian so I have some information about the both religions ..
These is my story to you Ninth I wish it just give the point I want to say .

- there was a Muslim guy who went to study outside he’s country and he went to Russia where he live there 5 years until he finish he’s studding stuff and he stop believing in god since he lived there ……. so he get back to he’s parents and the same day at the prayer time all of he’s parents want to pray but he said i will not pray until you bring the highest religion man to answer me on these 3 questions

so he’s parents bring him a man which is so religion …. That man asked the guy what is your 3 questions son .

the guy said these is my 3 question to you answer on me :
1- IS GOD Exist ? If Is So Show Me GOD until I believe
2- What is the destiny and can we know things in future .. Faith
3- The Divel have been created form fire .. how can fire BURN fire .. if at the end of the world the Satan will go to HELL

As soon the guy Finish he’s 3 Question .. the religion man stand up and slap him hardly on he’s face … the guy went too angry and he asked with a rude ascent … Why did you SLAP me ? Or didn’t you find a way to answer on me so you SLAP me ?

Religion man said : No , but my SLAP on your Face is my Answer for you …
The Guy : I didn’t understand .
Religion man : What did you Feel After I SLAP you on Your Face
The Guy : I feel pain .. to mush pain
Religion man: Do you believe that PAIN exist on the Earth
The Guy : Sure and I still Feel IT
Religion man : Okay Show ME The Pain
The Guy : I can’t .
Religion man : Okay These is my answer for you on your first question … we As Islam believe in God by the signs he gave to us by feeling toward him … but we can’t show GOD .. just like you can’t show PAIN

Then The Religion man Asked the Guy : did you dreamed last night that some body was going to SLAP you on your face .
The Guy : No .
Religion man : that is destiny you can’t know it until it happen that is the faith

Then The Religion man Asked : what was my hand which SLAP you made from .. ( as we all know it’s mud . Dust )
The guy : Mud .
Religion man : and what is your face was created from at the 1st place ?
The guy : also Mud
Religion man : what do you feel after I SLAP you ..
The Guy : pain …
Religion man : you see mud can hurt mud …. That how God can hurt Satan in the HELL even if the Satan Was created at the 1st place From Fire …

At the end Mr. Ninth Dimension there’s thing happen on earth we can’t find ways to solve it .. but as I did some reading before I have some information’s that prove or at least give me an chance to say yes there is god and I believe in ..

Every religion have it’s own book and own culture by the time but if you see them they all say 1 thing .. peace .. Jesus Christ have asked he’s people to follow him and he will forgive him .. he said he is the way and the light I also believe in that .. Jesus Christ have taken the sin and the pain from he’s people and asked them to forgive each other .

All these Say That there is a God At the end .. whatever is your Religion when you die you will find your way going to some body who will punish you for what did you do in your life .. and that some body will be God .. for me I believe in Him and I wish you to try to get that point in your head that there is a god but you should find it and follow he’s rules and he’s orders

I Forget to Mention that what do you see in the news’s or the TV network about Muslim and the crimes they do that is all wrong … also the Muslim book ( Qouran ) have ordered in peace and he also ordered to not fight or heart any body .. so what we see in news’s and bombing which they call there self ISLAM .. I can ensure for you that Islam Is free from them.. they are bunch of +++++++s who’s trying to let the Islam religion look ugly and terrorists .

PS, imported_killer (funny name for a Muslim who's trying to say Muslims are peaceful J/K :P), thank you for the story, very interesting, but in my opinion, it doesn't answer anything. I have a lot of respect for some of Islam's ideas, but contempt for some of their other ones. I also have knowledge of Islam's history, and how it spread across the globe using the universal language of war... That doesn't sound very 'peaceful' to me. (But, don't get me wrong, it's the same with most religions, especially Christianity, so please don't think I'm picking on Islam or anything.) But what pisses me off the most (and this is aimed at all religion) is that it only exists to control, to give a set of rules, and be damned if you break them. What a negative way to live your life?

Anyway, this is all about open exchange, you've said your bit, I've said mine, and I hope we're both a little bit richer for the experience
