Need answers fast - mobo issue
Well I was adding a fan to my computer, and I had an extensino cable for my motherboasrd fan in, I found out that it doesn't change fan speed like it does for the CPU fan, So I went to do something else, and it droped and hit part of the case, i saw a spark and it went dead. I removed it, tried to restart and nothing happens, no beeps.
Is there any way to fix this? Is my mobo really dead? Fuse? Also will anything else be damaged? Edit: I am saved! After removing all power and the CMOS battary i was able to start my computer, and XP isn't even complaining like it does when I do anything else, yeah for smart computers! |

Sounds like something similar that hapenned to me a while back with one of my custom machines, my recurring problem is that I have to replace the CMOS Battery every few days (I can't afford a new motherboard )
