Help installing new portal...
I'm running VB 3.5.4 for my forums but my current portal/homepage is php nuke Iwould like to install vbadvanced. So my question is my forums link reads http://www.mommiesplayground.com/portal/forums/ so I think when I install this won't my homepage still be the php nuke being it's in a folder called portal and VBadvanced will be in the forums folders below that below that?
I tried asking over at VBAdvance with no response, I was just hoping that this was a simple answer someone would know. Thanks |

you can put the vbadvanced index file in the portal folder if you want it does not have to go in the forums folder its just the links that have to be sorted out thats all.

Thats because you have not sorted out the configuration for the vbadvanced. You have to sort out the links for the style or put the style image files in a second place. Then you need to sort out the links that point to your board.
If you want me to help you do it i will, But could you make it today as i am not at work today although i can help after work the rest of the week. One thing i have noticed is that you need to take the left column from the header and put it into forumhome so it does not get 2 on the vbadvanced page or turn the vbadvanced left column off... |
