I think this goes here.
Anyhow, I marked all of my forums read earlier and now when I go to 'NEW POSTS' I see this: The threads below have not been updated since your last visit but still contain unread posts. What does that mean? Also, one of my memebrs told me when she leaves the forum she clicks "Mark All Forums Read" button at the bottom. She added that you'd think it would 'delete' all the threads you've read, but it doesn't, and, according to the search page, it said that the thread had an unread message that was posted just 3 minutes ago. But the post that shows up was written on the 13th of April. MMM... one more thing. She says that she also notices that when you go back to the search page after viewing an unread post, the page isn't automatically updated like it was with the old software (was using Burning Board). You have hit Refresh for it to acknowledge that you've read that post. I kinda think she finds that a bit annoying. |
