Few question about the hack · **Released**: 03-31-2006

Well I'm new to this hack and find it really great but I got some questions I would like to be answered.

First, I was wondering, when you buy gifts or change someone's user title, or any other modification, how long the change will last? can you put a time frame? or it stays forever?

I'm not sure how the Daily Lottery works. The Ending Time every day - I got now March 17, 2006. Do I have to edit it every day because 2 people managed to win the jackpot during the same day?

Some members told me that when they fail to steal, it takes points from their reputation. Is that normal because I got "Options that affect reputation." set to No?

Some options currently are not expirable, I'd have to refer to the php to know which ones for sure. Gifts stay with the user, they can delete them when they want if u allow them to in Usergroup Manager permissions.

The Daily Lottery should only happen once, as it deletes the tickets soon as it chooses a winner, check the cron task log to see when it has logged the winners.

You can change the reputation loss in the vbPlaza Options.

Well I have lots of Lottery Processing, then I have this:

1990 vbBux Lottery Processing 11:30, 30th Mar 2006 Lottery Processed. Winners: User2
1988 vbBux Lottery Processing 10:30, 30th Mar 2006 Lottery Processed. Winners: User1

I don't think that's supposed to happen during the same day. And again what I'm supposed to put in Ending Time in Edit Daily Lottery?

I set Steal Others Reputation Points to No, hope that'll fix it.

What version do u have installed? The lottery ending time is fully editable now. (Not just the unix timestamp anymore)

And that could happen above, when the daily and the weekly lotteries end on the same day.

I have 1.5.4 on vB 3.5.4. I know you can edit it, but what I'm supposed to put there (Ending Time)? Do I need to upate it every day and put different ending time?

Also I got every reputation options OFF on my board for vbBux / vbPlaza and still when users try to steal, it takes points off their reputation. Eg: Steal 1 points = - 3 reputation points
How I can stop this from happening?

Well once u set it for a time once and it ends, it should end it the same time the next day for the daily lottery automatically. There was a bug fixed a while back that would cause the time to increase over days, but that was fixed in 1.5.4. Maybe reupload the files in the UPLOAD folder again and make sure its overwriting the files too.

As for the other part, I'll figure out a way to add a check if the reputation system is disabled, it wont allow users to use those options.
