How do I add the sub-forums in a way like the attached picture?

make VBModifi... as category
and create subforums pointing to parent "VBModifi..."

Make VBModifi... as category and then pointing them...

Is there a step by step guide for that, I'm still a vB newbie?
I have no idea where to start.
