How do I add advertising to the left side of my forum home? (page background) to run along side the message board.

Did you register here at vbulletin.org with the email address that is associated with your vB license? If not, that would explain why. You can log into your Members area at vbulletin.com, click on Priority Support on the right, and add the email address that you use here to that list...then you will be able to download mods here. If somebody else owns your vB license, you will need to get them to do this for you.

Can we see an example of what you mean? Perhaps a link to your forums with the area clearly described...?

Yes I have done that ages ago. I have downloaded other things.
that link has a red x where I should be able to down load the product. if I click on it I get the code.. but not the download.

I can do this.. but it messes with my board messurements..even if I twick the sizes on the code.

I dont have any examples. But sidebar seems right. I would like to advertise with an ad running down the left side of the homepage near the forum list.

I don't know what to tell you, that sounds like more of a technical problem with the forums here than anything else...something you should contact a moderator/admin about. I can download the product just fine...

maybe you should try another browser? Can you download other products?

That's what I use on my forums, however I use the version on the right side. Easy to install and easy to update (with very slight HTML knowledge)
