Posts since last visit request

Folks, maybe this already exists but I THINK I've done a pretty good search and haven't found a mod for this. The following is a request that I received from one or my members and others have agreed that it would be nice.

Don not sure how hard this would be, but I am going to ask, as I know you like a challenge.

Anyway once you open the Forum page and in the menu bar there is link that says New posts, I believe there are a lot of people including me use this to navigate the forum section.

In the early days this was great but now it is becoming a pain. Here's what I find happens to me. I open the new posts and there is almost always at least two pages of new posts occasionally three or more. So now I am on page two three or fourth page, and I post a reply, after I submit it I usually use the new post button in the lower menu bar.

That brings me to the 1st page. So now I have to move over and open the second page again. This is not a big deal but sometimes I am on a slower connection and it is a pain to wait for all the uploading to select the second page.

So is it possible to put beside the New post button all the pages that I may have. This way I can new post to the second page or third depending on where I left off.

I do not know computers that much but thought it would be difficult to have this feature in the menu bars, but maybe you can.

Oh...and one other thought. Maybe a good way to do this would be to make the "New Posts" button a drop down menu with the pages listed?
