Hey guys.
Any idea why this wont work for me? I want to change my Main Table Width to 90% So I go to Style Manage > StyleVars and change the value to 90%.. but nothing changes. It does not change for any value i put in. The only other thing I have installed is vbadvanced. and I'm using vBulletin Version 3.5.4 thanks for any help EDIT: just noticed that it is changing some things: On my main page only the bottom bar (the one with contact us, admin, mod etc) is going to 90%. everything else is 100% each forum/sub forum is still 100% the actual thread pages are at 90% any help is greatly appreciated=) |

do you have a custom skin?
If so, use a default skin and see if it works. I suggest doing a compare with the custom / default templates that have been changed. I'm guessing they hardcoded the values. What templates you ask? When modifying templates, it is often helpful to have Add Template Name in HTML Comments setting enabled so you can view the source of a page to determine what template(s) control it. Yeah I have this same problem with a few of my pages. I know it's the spacer_open template that needs to be duplicated, renamed and adjusted to be
<div style="padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px"> <div style="padding:0px $stylevar[spacersize]px 0px $stylevar[spacersize]px"> Then where $spacer_open is in SHOWTHREAD needs to be $spacer_open_two (or whatever you named it) but 3.5.4 won't let me add new templates like this.... can anyone help. **EDIT YOU CAN ALSO GET RID OF THIS PROBLEM BY STYLE MANAGER "SPACER WIDTH" SET TO "0" |
