Since we've recently had an account hijacking issue due to password theft, it would seem logical to take steps to prevent future occurances. I've been looking for solutions to that very problem, and thus far the best ones I've come accross are a pair of 3.0.x hacks: Password Expiration Policies and Advanced Password Rules. Alone, either is good, but together, they are great. I'd like somebody to port the two hacks as one, while incorperating the usergroup aspect of the first hack to all parts of this (ex: which usergroups update how often, and how secure their passwords must be). Thanks in advance.

Apparently those threads have been "banned (i guess you can say)".
gio~logist, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
They are not vb 3.0 hacks, they are both for vb 2.2 - I doubt you could port them as such, so much has changed between vb2.2 and vb3.5 that they would almost certainly need writing from scratch.
Can anybody help me out here? I understand that an exact port is not likely since these are pre-3.0.x hacks, but making something comparablely featured would be much appreciated.
