I was trying to bump a thread and the auto merg won't let me I think the auto merge is horriable for here.

i think its great, keeps a thread to a minimum,i use it on my forum to stop members gaining more on the post count,but i think you'll find if you click "post reply" it will allow a seperate post without automerge

the auto-merge is actually made FOR stopping useless bumping of threads...
that is sure why you find is horrible and annoying, it is built to stop you from doing what you want... bumping is not permitted here, so be aware of that... |

Bumping is allowed, it simply must not be excessive.

There is no way to get around the auto-merge; It will occur in non-modifcation release forums until 24 hours has passed...
There is only one way to get around it where it functions, and to do that you have to be Staff ![]() Chris |
