How do I: show "subscription" under usename in threads/posts?

The moderators at VB suggested i post this here as it requires code modification. Any help from the experts here is greatly appreciated

I'd like to indicate if a person has a "paid subscription" by listing it under "posts or "location" in a thread

for example if someone has a paid subscription to (id: 4)

i do NOT want to tie this to "usergroup" (i have that already but it's very clumsy for short subscriptions that overlap in length). all help appreciated!
