Are there any hacks out there that enable the use of a php include in a vBulletin template?

Plugins accomplish the same thing more or less, what are you looking to do?

I want to add a line of php code into my sig that displays what I'm listening to in itunes. Got the itunes bit sorted i just need to get it into my sig

Im not sure how well this would work or what kind of performance hit you may take but...

create a new product:
product id: gizmotunes
title: whatever you want
version: 1
description: whatever you want

create a new plugin
product: gizmotunes
Hook Location: Global Start
Title: whatever you want

Plugin PHP Code:

Add the php your trying to include here. Be sure its using the proper vbulletin variables.

eval('$itunesbox = "' . fetch_template('itunes') . '";');


Now create a template called itunes and add in the variables.

You'll need to cache that template somehow and work with this but hopefully this should get you going.

or, you could just make a totally seperate php script to generate a dynamic image with the text of the song you are listening too. then just use bbcode img tags to embed it in your sig.
