Best chat system for VB?

irc , flash chat, thats about it that i remember but irc is probably the best all around chat since it can be free.. but if your willing to pay the flash chat isnt bad it looks kinda cool.. i prefer irc over anything though since ya can have stand alone users connecting to it as well

IRC is the best there is, its what I have on my new server, best thing about IRC is people can use things like MIRC, or Trillain.

You talk about irc, but there is a plugin or extension to integrate ir with vb? I?ve found the plugin to integrate flashchat, but not irc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again, Simon. |

You can put a simple javaclient on your site so users without a IRC program can chat. As far as intergration with vBulletin user accounts there is nothing out there.
Flashchat is nice, but I hear it can eat up server resources quickly if there are a lot of people in your chat room. |
