Anyone ever heard of this company? Below is a copy of the email I received. What do you guys think? Do you think this is legit?

We are interested in advertising text links on the bottom of your forum, or other websites you might own/manage.
Let me explain exactly what we are looking for in an ideal world and I'll leave you to take it from there.
ZTMC has a database of hundreds of thousands of sites that we advertise, from kids sites to big corporate, every topic imaginable with the exception of pharmaceutical, warez, adult and gambling sites. Again no pharmaceutical, warez, adult and gambling sites are in our network. We would like to display five sites randomly at the bottom of every page of your site. (In a common footer). For this I'd propose a monthly fee paid each month in advance.
The contract would last a month at a time (paid upfront).
These are not banners they are text links, you can theme them with size and colour to fit your site as you see fit. I'd prefer them at the bottom of the site and you can label them as sponsored or advertiser’s sites should you wish to.
I'm contacting as many large forums as I can find. Why forums? Because I assume they need the money/sponsorship to put towards the running of their site.
Please get in touch if this interests you. I can show you the ads on existing sites and we can agree a monthly fee to action this campaign.

yeh i got that, thats bullsh1t... the dude just wants his links.. and tries to outsmart you. if u own a website as well he would say yeh ad add the links on the site, heres the code EVEN THOUGH you guys agreed only the forum will place those links.

He offered me and then chatted about placing on my site, which i said no that would cost more then, and he never got back to me after that, i even e-mail him again to negociate the price etc... he still didnt bother.

He will send you a PLUGIN for your forum which you import and also a .TXT file may be for any external links from your forum.

Your choice in what you want to do.. just be smarter than him...
