On my forum, users often post certain html codes, like |. However, whenever that kind of code is posted, or previewed, it's automatically converted to |. It doesn't matter if it's inside [CODE] or [HTML] tags.
Now, & for instance isn't converted, so i'm hoping vbulletin already has an "escape list" or something for that kind of code. Could someone perhaps point me in the direction of how i can make | work like that too? (i.e, be preserved, not converted) ( | can be posted by typing | ) After som more testing, it seems that html names are escaped, html numbers are not. I.e, is converted to  , so it looks ok. |
