Isn't there a gender hack, so that when someone registers they have to check male or female, and when someone clicks on their profile, it tells if they're male or female.
I'm not talking about the little symbol next to their username in message...
I'm talking about

Username
birthday
gender
location
biography
occupation
etc
etc
etc

You can do that just by creating a custom profile field and setting it as a required field.
