How to make my forum do this with pictures?

ok yea i was kinda thinking that. the images are hosted by http://imageshack.us/

is there any kinda hack or plugin that will allow you to do this? I know that if someone adds an attachment such as a pic it will display a thumb and then once clicked on it will show the larger image. but what i want something that will do the same thing but when people use the

function.

any ideas?
