Default spiders

over the past few days i have noticed that im getting more spiders on than before also they come in pairs and even 3s and 4s sometimes it never used to be like that i used to get maybe 2 on or 3 but there definately coming on more often and in bigger quantities does this mean my site is picking up ??

no, it means you need to clean up your closet and make some laundry...

the spiders always update their information regarding your forum when the first stats are built, so they "know" that your site have new information, or is a regular... (regulars are sites that have content updated weekly, compared to daily...)

so are you telling me that it is meaning less the fact that im getting more spiders on than before, and that means no improvement to my pr ??

if your content is not changing, why your PR would change?

that's the main point of spiders.. rating your site depending on content... the count of visits is not that important... if the content they archive is hit often as search results, your PR is higher... not the visits from the spiders...

so content is priority, in order to get a higher pr rather than the amount of visits from spiders/bots.

the goal of rating sites for the websearch engines is to rate the pertinence of your content VS the needs fo the researchers... that's all...!

when do search engimes update there pr then i heard it was every 3 months is this true and do you know when the next one is due.
