How to stop ads from showing on certain pages

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. It is against Adsense TOS to have their ads show on search or 404 pages.

I have my adsense beneath my forum header, so it's going to end up appearing on the search page. What I'd like to know is if there's a code to prevent it from showing on the search page?

Something like if statements? Thanks.
