Hello everyone :/
All of a sudden my forums seem to have crashed, and i'm getting this error, someone mentioned to me that it could be a dos attack, but im not sure what it is, can someone help, thanks. Code:

This is a server issue. You need to contact your host about this. See this post for the possible causes of a lost connection error:

I got the same message in my place. And it was then a server issue.

1- there are some Support forum up above, the Lounge is not the best place for that...
2- this error occurs only when the server is not able to answer all mysql requests made in that moment... kinda overloaded... this error is sent to alert the admin, but others can see it anyway. |

Shared hosting sucks. Ask to be moved to another server with less load. You should be able to also find out how many sites are being hosted. Have fun!
Also another problem could also be a bot. The hosting company may need to keep an eye on IPs and ban if applicable. Sometimes a new spider bot will lag and or freeze a server up as thier AI is lack there of.... |
