A lot of your hacks are the under the hood kind. The behind the scenes type. More for functionality than looks. These are the best ones to install. That actually do something that pretty can't do.

I can't believe you're wondering then! No way!

I wish I could give you a link of a really overstuffed forum I currently have in mind but it's just not right

Boofo pretty sites don't have to be overstuffed with graphics. As Geartripper said, less is more

But my new one is having some extensive enhancements made to 3.5.1. I'm paying a hefty price tag but its worth it for a completely unique and custom set-up that is member friendly.

Btw guys, it's really a delight to have a conversation here in contrary to most greek forums that would have the typical greek behavior:
For instance:
Me: [first post]
Typical greek guy: "Are you implying that YOUR forum isn't overstuffed? Well, it is and it has this and this and this so it's terrible and you can't talk about others' forums. Let's not mention that you don't have a handmade script"
Me: "pretty sites don't have to be overstuffed with graphics. As Geartripper said, less is more"
typical greek guy: "So you are saying that YOUR forum is pretty and not overstuffed? Well it is, and additionaly it's terrible cause it has a script that you didn't make yourself so it sucks and you suck too"

That's the usual scenario in greek webmaster forums (with a little exaggeration

)

And I've never seen that with international forums... That's one of the reasons that I just HATE Greece. They always have to insult you and prove that they are better

(well there are some really nice people but they are a minority)

Yes, but you started the thread so you are allowed to go off-topic, I think. Let me check the official going off-topic rules and get back to you on that.

And for what it's worth, I liked Greece when I was there in the early 70's (for a short trip). And I don't think anyone said that I sucked the whole time I was there (except for that guy in your converstaion a few posts up. But he says everybody sucks so that doesn't count.)

Well I was talking mainly for forums, especially on webmaster's forums. Most greeks are too scared to do that in real life (although they have the thoughts) so they end up flaming in forums and they are full of sarcasm. Also, Greece has changed a lot since the 70s... And yes, it's good for vacation but terrible to live in for sooo many reasons that I would need a new thread to list them.

What do the official rules say? Are we very off-topic?
