yes i need alittle help... one of my member's came to me and said that someone told him that my security on site isn't any good... i do not understand what i can do to correct this problem... this is the yim that took place...
Gator: u need to fix the security on ur site a-c: ? a-c: what ya talking about gator? a-c: how you know? Gator: lol a-c: what did you log under? i do not know how to fix this but i seriously need to fix it if it is correct... please help.. Thanks |

Because it can be easily exploited, I removed the specific line abstracting the problem. I will generally say that you need to protect all access to vBulletin which includes the admin CP, MySQL, FTP, and all the files under your account.
Your host can help with securing MySQL and FTP for you; you can just ask them to restrict access to it for anybody other than you if you don't know what to do yourself. |
