Auto-parsing [email] bbcode

Hi; I'm trying to find the file where the auto-parsing of posted text picks up whether it's an email address - what I need is for any 'normal' occurrences of an email address not to be parsed, and only to parse an [email] tagged post with the mailto: prefix. Also need this for URL's too - the only time I want the link to be parsed is when users specifically put it within the bbcode tags. Anyone have any suggestions as to the best way I can do this?
