I looked all over.

Maybe I am not proficient at searching...

I attached a picture of what the hack does.

Instead of opening a new page, to edit, it opens it in an embedded box, making editing quick and easy.

Know where to find it?

Not sure if you know this, but it is standard in 3.5.0.

i did not know that.

i dont want to upgrade, because my board is so modded.

is there a way to do this to 3.0.3?

The best solution I can tell you is to try to backport the AJAX functionality of vB 3.5 and then modify the templates concerning embedded editing

Other than that there is no easy way to have it
