I would like to get my forum mainpage looking more along the lines of this:
http://www.xbox360forum.com/ where "Forum, Last Post, Threads, Posts" are underneath the Forum Titles and each of the sections are gapped out, to leave space between the Forums (so they do not merge into one another) p.s. When you click expand on the forums they should leave a 10px or 20px gap .. Any help is appreciated ![]() |

Wicked! It works fantastic (with a bit of help)
Now, my next question is: how do I remove that ugly header gap in IE? http://www.auto-labs.com/forum/ |

You mean I have to open IE to have a nose here?????
Ok, I will shortly. Right I see it. Without seeing your header template code it's a struggle though as I can't see anything on view source to indicate why there is a gap. /me cries at monitor and goes to revert screen res back to a decent viewable thing after making it tiny to enlarge the page. |

header:
Code:
<div align="center"> <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript" TYPE="text/javascript"> <!-- // JavaScript to interpolate random images into a page. var ic = 14; // Number of alternative images var i = new Array(ic); // Array to hold filenames // Set up the images. These are GIFs, but they don't have to be. // You could also save space in your file by including the // unchanging part of the image filename (i.e. 'inline/imageSample' // and '.gif') in the 'writeln' statement below, and just storing // the part of the image name that actually changes. Used this way // you could reference a very large number of different images while // keeping the file size small. i[0] = "images/header/1.jpg"; i[1] = "images/header/2.jpg"; i[2] = "images/header/3.jpg"; i[3] = "images/header/4.jpg"; i[4] = "images/header/5.jpg"; i[5] = "images/header/6.jpg"; i[6] = "images/header/7.jpg"; i[7] = "images/header/8.jpg"; i[8] = "images/header/9.jpg"; i[9] = "images/header/10.jpg"; i[10] = "images/header/11.jpg"; i[11] = "images/header/12.jpg"; i[12] = "images/header/13.jpg"; i[13] = "images/header/14.jpg"; i[14] = "images/header/15.jpg"; function pickRandom(range) { if (Math.random) return Math.round(Math.random() * (range-1)); else { var now = new Date(); return (now.getTime() / 1000) % range; } } // Write out an IMG tag, using a randomly-chosen image name. var choice = pickRandom(ic); document.writeln('<a href="http://www.auto-labs.com/forum/"' + '<TABLE WIDTH=792 HEIGHT=154 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>' + '<IMG SRC="' + i[choice] + '" HEIGHT="154" WIDTH="792" BORDER=0 id="forumlogo"><' + "/P><" + "/TD><" + "/TR><" + "/TABLE></a>"); // --> </SCRIPT> </div> <!-- content table --> $spacer_open $_phpinclude_output Code:

ok, according to your code, there is no reason for there to be a gap. In IE it is more prominant than in Firefox. The only thing I can think of is that it is something to do with the way in which IE handles Java. I could however be completely wrong in which case someone else will contradict me.
