The same can be said of any hack for vB. With the recent rash of hacks that started off as free and have switched to becoming a pay product, making a statement like yours above would tend to make people think twice before using CMPS when in fact there is nothing at all to indicate that Brian will be changing his mind about charging for it. It's a rather odd & misleading statement.
I agree it could be misleading but it's all based on a user's interpretation of what I say - As stated by myself and now Brian that is not the case at present
