Photopost VB3.5 Integration
I have purchased the latest VB and PP to replace a photo community setup i have have running - before i start installing what the best way to install to get it to integrate the best - does it matter ?
1) VB in root dir and PP in separate subdir 2) both in sub directories 3) some other configuration i would like to make a front index page which grabs some of the forum threads recent images most popular etc whats the best way to do this a cms like vb portal or just a straight call into a page. thanks in advance |

Put them in seperate directories. As far as the databases either way works just fine but it's easier if you install photopost into the VBulletin database. As far as adding the pics you want there is a hack for getting them to show up on your forum home. I'm not sure if someone has written one for a cms yet.

Romeos - thanks - so by this "... but it's easier if you install photopost into the VBulletin database....." you mean create vbulletin setup first then - install photopost using the same table prefix ?
thanks Ant |
