That doesn't do much for those of us who have already shelled out the bucks for it, I'm afraid.
I have actually (with the help of a 20-pound lump hammer) managed to beat hivmail into some sort of useful program.
http://www.nzboards.com/nzbmail : A nice 'integrated' login/register page that checks if you are a logged in member (with at least 5 posts..Usergroup perms) of the site before allowing you to sign up.
I even managed to make it take on the css of ONE of my styles...
In saying all that, VBMS was a whole heck of a lot more tightly integrated, at least style-wise, with vB. HM doesn't give a toss about your existing Usergroups by default...they sign up and you have to manually shift them into an HM Usergroup.
It also has a fun little bug whereby if you are using the standard vB "integration" (what a joke that is), your members won't be prompted to enter much of the info...leaving you unable to change their accounts at all, because they have no Secret Question.

The just-released vB 3.5 version (pre-final) is 15,939 lines. If Zend Studio didn't have code folding, I would have murdered somebody or had the wheel on my mouse combust, whichever came first.
Because, as everybody knows, quantity is more important than...?
