Today at 07:00 PM Boofo said this in Post #89 You're mixed up a bit. He didn't turn anything over to me an Xenon. It was Erwin and Xenon. I've seen too many good programs lose the vision they started out with when they get turned over to someone new when that person "cannot always stick to one thing" as you said and they decide to move on to something else. I'm not penalizing anyone for anything. Chen has the right to do whatever he sees fit with the board and HiveMail. But that doesn't mean that I have to buy into it either.
Ya ok :cheeky:
Sorry about refering to you as Erwin LOL
Yesterday at 10:33 PM midnightz said this in Post #90 Anybody here? Finding the Hivemail server down?
yep, chen says new server, maybe the DNS hasn't updated yet, who knows. Would have been nice for them to send an email to their registered users about this.
I need to access the user forums there, I dont know the exact install procedure for insalling hivemail with VB integration. I could just Use HORDE or Neo. But I really prefer to give it a swirl since i just ppurchased it.
The VB intergration part of the install directions is a luttel week, for a a noobie like me that is learning real fast....
Somebody help me with the install - best way to do it?
I know this is an old thread, but I just found out about this system. Is there any cheaper alternatives? I can see paying maybe $30-$60 but $180 is wayy beyond it's worth to me.

Especially when the upgardes and fixes are so few and far between.
There are, but I am partial towards mentioning a specific one.

:speechless:
And I agree about the price issue..their stuff isnt only buggy, but like Booby said, their updates and fixes are few and very far between.
My only suggestion = antything but hivemail for a large number of reasons. Though it had massive potential, it was as buggy as Greyhound bus front grill.

That doesn't do much for those of us who have already shelled out the bucks for it, I'm afraid.
