come on! nobody at all can do this?

wish i stayed with IPB. their hacks are great. You are spoilt for choice with what you can do with that. Im somewhat disapointed with the range of hacks available for VB. nothing compared to IPB

The shoutbox that vbulletin has much better than IPB. On IPB, you have to reload the page in order to see if someone reply. The one that u are attaching, i dont know what are the preview. I'm not a coder, but the one i'm using, is better

oh im sorry.. my attitude. hang on a minute. Ive paid for a lifetime licence to Vb only to find that there are only a selection of Hacks that are worth installing on the software. Thats excluding the ones that you install and find that you have to restore from a backup to fix the damage.

and if you bothered your arse to look at the original post and see how long i waited for a reply. then maybe you would be a bit miffed at no response as well. A simple yes or no would of done.

All ive requested is for someone to come up with a shoutbox that works. unlike some of the other hacks for VB. one of which isnt even supported now i should add. along with the problems it has upon users databases.

I am entitled to my opinion. and my opinion is that there is a better selection of hacks available for IPB. They are supported properly and are tested before being released to the public.

Why not take a look at invisionize.com yourself.. you will see what i mean.

So whereever you think my attitude comes into this? please enlighten me.

im using 3.0.7 at the moment.. will it work on that? with not much screwing about.

As you are a lifetime paid licence holder why not just get v3.5 and use ZT's vBshout hack, it works great and is an excellent hack indeed.

Yes you are right in that the one for v3.0.x is a troublesome one and has no support but it does work with a bit of screwing around, but I'd be using 3.5 and that hack as it works and has support 100%..

Maybe also no one replied originally as no one had done the conversion to the one you wanted.

Why you are using 3.0.7 when there is a security issue and you are a lifetime licenced holder. I can't understand either, but not my call.

to be honest. i dont know how im gonna upgrade. I have a number of hacks installed. and i dont want to screw things up by upgrading.

just how does one upgrade while still keeping hold of the hacks installed?

Unfortunately you will lose those hacks by upgrading from 3.0.x to 3.5, but then maybe you should have a look at what hacks ya actually got running now and see if they haven't already been ported over to 3.5 as you'll find using the Plugin system on 3.5 sooooooo much better..
