Emailing All Members (Mass Email) Times out or Errors "The Document Contains no Data"

Hello, i have a 5k members board that i just converted from IPB to vBulletin 3. I want to email all my members with a link to the lost password recovery page.

When i try to mass email all my users from the admin CP, the script either times out on MSIE about 3 minutes after hitting Send. I'm trying to send 500 mails per batch. in Firefox i get an error popup box with: "The Document Contains no Data"

Now i can send the emails if i lower the number too 100, but then i need to keep clicking send... Is there a way i can make it continue to the next group of users without me having to do anything? I dont want to spend an hour waiting for an email to goto my users....

Or even better is there a hack i can install that will make it more like IPB's mass mailing system? Basicly when you send a mail you wouldn't even have to have the browser open for it to be sent. It would just be put into a que, then every so and so minutes, it would send a batch... I guess it was can by a cron script.. Not sure.

I Just need a better way to email members.....
