I only find bigger avatars okay if they are limited to even something like 10k for an 100x100 avatar. That way, it doesn't make the size of forum pages so much larger.

120x120 is way to big. I think 80x80 is ideal for a forum this size.

Ooooh, 120x120 would be very nice.

I wouldn't raise the limit of the file size by much though, this seems to be the problem area for most.
