See this thread for information on a similar function.
See this page for information about Mozilla-Search/Mycroft. Basically i would like to make a mycroft plugin for mozilla/firefox that enables my users to make a simple forum search straight from their toolbar. Unfortunately, this kind of plugin only works with GET, not POST which is what vBbulletin 3.x uses. I've already got the plugin more or less done, i can post it once i know it works with vbulletin, but.. To my question: Are there any (more or less simple) ways to enable GET searches in Vbulletin? I could probably do something really messy with a "$_POST['query'] = $_GET['query']" kind of hack on the search.php, but i'd prefer not to if there was a simpler way. I posted at Vbulletin.com but they seemed to think it was more appropriate to post here, so hopefully someone has a simple way to do it =) Edit: wops, nevermind. I didn't test this enough ![]() |
