vb2.x Legacy template for vb3
A kind soul at vbulletin.com pointed out a legacy template that was designed by Zachery.
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=111141 It's close, but the biggest problem seems to be the avatar placement is wrong for vb2. I wish I had a dollar for everyone who has complained about the avatar placement. A few like it, but most seem to take it as if someone snuck out and moved their mailbox without their permission. Maybe someone with the capability could point out how to move the avatars and personal info back beside the post? If you are wondering why someone would want to make their vb3 forums look like vb2, it's in the interest of offering a baby-step upgrade approach - one that doesn't force your users to relearn everything (layouts and functionality at the same time). Many people who will readily adapt to changes on their own timetable take issue when it has been foisted upon them. Thanks & regards, Matt |
