new thread button @ forumhome

I looked around but i couldn;t really find what i;'m looking for ...

What i want is an extra colomn next to the Posts column on the forumhome with new thread buttons, and not something weird like Filberts hack; http://www.vbulletintemplates.com/mo...ead.php?t=2002

it should point to newthread.php ( same as when you click on new thread @ forumdisplay ... i hope its clear ;x

copy our code from forumdisplay template

change the varible abit

and presto, were done

Now if youd like to add this to the moderators collum. (i wouldnt suggest a new one as it might bie abit crapmed.)

in forumhome_level1_post find

and replace it with our new code

you should change the newthread button to somthing else, as it would be rather large

I cannot get this to work for me. We don't use the moderator column and want to put this into it's own column... We tried adding to the moderator column to test and turned moderator column ON in AdminCP and it wouldn't work.. We tried to just ADD the column and couldn't get that working either...

Can you hold my hand some more with a step by step on how to create a brand new column with new thread and even subscribe/unsubscribe buttons via a conditional?

I'd be eternally grateful!

Well that code should be right, ill try it out on one of my test forums today.
