correclty your badly coded or badly made images?

make up a table outside of vB that will do it and see if it still happens

btw this doesnt work so great with the enw layout of Gamma and the RC's i do have a version to release shere soon

Any idea how to use alpha transparency without having the new.gif and old.gif, just one gif which is brighter when a new msg is posted?
