vBT IRC Chat Room

Following the lines of vB.org and vB.nl, vBT has decided to have it's own chat room where all users are invited to join in discussions about vBulletin and ask for some live support. Here are probabaly some future FAQ answered already.

How do I get to the vBT Chat Room?
You Simply have to download an IRC client to access IRC servers like the one vBT is hosted on. A popular IRC Client is mIRC. So firstly download the client and install it onto your computer. Now open it onto the blank status/channel screen and click THIS LINK.
REMINDER: This chat is hosted on the same server as the popular vB.org and vB.nl channels are. So all you will need to do is join #vbtemplates

Will live support be offered?
Yes, some regulars to the channel have agreed to offer live support when they have time. So if you don't get an answer, post it on the forum if you already haven't. Thats the best way to get support, live support is just a bonus.

Who will be running the channel?
As it was Rufus69's idea of making the chatroom, he is an owner. Also SaintDog will be an owner if he decides to join the channel. Myself and Anime-loo are current Co-Owners. Also there will be more operators made in the future to look after the channel once it gets much more popular.

There is also no current java access to this channel available, so you will have to use an IRC Client.

To clarify this..

General vBulletin support will not be allowed, all general queries should go to vBulletin.com's support forums. Users asking for general vbulletin support will be banned from the channel.

vBulletin hacking support should go to vbulletin.org, again anyone asking for hacking support will be banned from the channel.

As far as users that have released mods here, you may support them via irc. At this time we will allow that. But keep in mind that you have no way of knowing if you are giving support to a legit vBulletin lincensed holder.

To be safe, I will be asking anyone who wants help to identify their profile on vBulletinTemplates. It's the only safe way to not give out free support.

I guess it will be up to the person who is giving out the support.
