...which I do suggest that you do for complex mods, you don't have to specify absolute paths for images.

Assuming you have a test vB installation at d:\testvb\, put this in the <head> tag of the page you're making:

Code:
<base href="d:\testvb\">
Then any relative image srcs will be relative to d:\testvb\ and you don't have to (1) specify image paths and (2) clutter up your vB's folder.

Now if only somebody knew how to make Dreamweaver MX understand <normalfont> and <smallfont> I'd be set

I guess that why coding by hand seems to be always better.

yeah but not when messing with the crazy tables vb has. I use a combination of both and I share your pain about MX. Actually, cant you define your own tags in MX? I'll have to take a look at that.

When I open the vbulletin.style in MX preview mode - it's redirects me somewhere and I can't work normaly. Is there a way to fix it. How do you do it - all by hand?

It's impossible, so much code. Too much. Of the code.

A .style file isn't easily editable in Dreamweaver.

You can, just go to "Edit > Tag Libraries" then select the HTML Tags folder. Click the "+" and select "New Tags" then you can add those in there and when you are in code view it will be part of the code hints and you shouldnt get an error anymore about it not being a real tag.

If you are looking for it to display the right size, you could create a "Design Time Style Sheet" to define the size of those tags that will show up in your Design View but won't add any extra code to your file.
