the postbit is what you are looking at now.

it is a template in vbulletin that displays members info...the post...the signature...etc.

hacks are different then template mods

template mods are an adjustment in the way your forum is displayed...and are serviced here at vBT

hacks are an adjust in functionality....and are services at www.vbulletin.org

acully your sorta right, sorta wrong. Template mods can add functionality via phpinclude. Just look at my sig

. a better way of putting it would be.

Hack: modify the .php files that come with vBulletin, also can modify the templates and database schema.

Template mods: do not edit the .php files, can edit the database schema in some cases.
