I know how to do each of the following...who wants what first? All of these affect forumhome and add one query to forumhome.

Today's Calendar Events done
Current (non-expired) Forum-wide annoucements can't easily be done
Show Subscribed Forums (kinda tricky) done
Hackless style dropdown done

thats what i wanted since i got a vb. why just put birthdays when u can put calendar events to. i got lots of vb mod/hack ideas but i cant do that stuff.

Hmm, I'm suprised nobody else ever thought of putting events on the main page. Unless there has been a hack I never saw..

There's one more I just thought about: a hackless style dropdown (i.e., Chen's hack but without modifying the PHP files).
