can someone tell me what do i need to make style?
and help me with the basic...
coz i know nothing about it... i know how to use photoshop but i dont know how to connect it with vbb.... |

You dont have to use Photoshop, I have never used it, but it is highly recommended that you do. To make a style, make one from your CP, customize it with images etc. then download it - if you want to release it- and get its images, put them in a ZIP file, and post it in the styles section with a screenshot

You can't make a "layout" for a forum in photoshop though, it would all have to be transferred into code for your templates. After that you have your style. And you'd need to cut out the images etc. and make them seperate.

What Tony suggested is what I do when designing a style.
For example, I first design the theme in Photoshop. This allows me to play with elements and move things around easily. Using layers, I can play with the user interface etc. From there, I can then break out elements into discreet files for creating web images, e.g. buttons, header graphics etc. The last piece of the puzzle is adapting the design to vB through the templates so that the design is fully realized.
