One thing that I've found helpful is to include HTML comment tags at the beginning and end of each template. That way, when I'm browsing the forum and I view the source, I can see how all the templates work together. I think either Tony or ?HUH? are pointing you in the right direction.

Regarding the meta tags, you can edit those in the header section.

1. Log into Admin CP
2. Select "Modify" under "Styles"
3. Select "[fonts/colors/etc]" from the style you wish to edit
4. Make your changes in the "Head Insert:" section of the form.
