Yeah, I use this, but it doesn't cover number 3, which is puitting a image at the bottom of each category listing.
That's been driving me nuts actually, so if someone can point me to the proper template and the area where to insert the code, sure would appreicate it, hate having a half naked template. |

I did.
![]() I think I know what you are talking about though, it's using the category hack, which inserts a blank space between the category listings on the main page? Guess it is just as easy to insert a table with graphics there. If so... then d'oh... |

Nope... still no number three.
![]() Guess I will throw myself at the mercy of the people, I managed to add a footer to the thread listing and the postbit, but still would like to know how to add the footer image to the bottom of each category listing. I could proberly figure it out myself, if I knew what the actual template was that closed off the table that contains the boards and their listings for each category. I thought it was forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost, but it's not. That's just the code that just lists the text for Forum, Posts, Threads, Last Post, Moderator, correct? I turned on the design as default so people can see what I am trying to do a little better, I have been asking a few questions, so excuse the untidyness. http://www.shivasite.com/forums/index.php |

Yeah, I haven't been able to figure it out either shiva. I know it's in the forum home templates, but I just can't see WHERE to make the change.
I'll let you know if I find it. |

Yeah, thanks, it's the only one left to add for that, noticed it's not used with this site either, but maybe a couple people who have that do post here will tell us. (hint)

I'm thinking that it's a hack. You must have to edit a .php file in order to make it work. You might want to check out vBulletin.org for this one.

Really? Strange then, because I thought this was suppose to be a very powerful and flexible template system, at least what I was told.
![]() Don't see why it should be a hack, but maybe one of the people who has done it can enlighten us. Pretty sure it isn't, as the bottom is just a closed table, so it's gotta be somewhere. If it isn't, then it sort of defeats the purpose of modifying our styles then. ****, PHP-Nuke is so much simplier... :P Thanks |
