It seems that we're seeing more and more postbit edits that are really more styles than individual modifications. Certainly the post about how to add tables to the user info is a true mod, but some of the others are really more like skins.

Perhaps a subforum could be created for a Postbit gallery? This way, if someone wants to share their entire postbit, they can along with a screenshot.

What do you think?

OMG you dont know how right you are!! I can create some cool postbits with images.

Postbit & Styles/Skins are 2 totally different things. Postbits are minor sub-sections of a style/skin, where as a style/skin is usually a complete forum design (header, footer, postbit, ect). Having s basic posbit and a postbit with graphics does not change much, it is still a postbit

True, a full skin is one thing and a postbit style is another. So maybe I called it the wrong thing.

Regardless, it would still be a PostBit gallery. I just see where people are posting their Postbit templates as foo.com postbit and maybe a seperate forum for those types of posts would be best.

I just finished changing my postbit and I was looking at writing up a template mod for it, but it just got too detailed. Most of the better postbits are using a combination of modifications that are already posted here. I just think it would just be easier to post the entire postbit with a screenshot. Since it's a style rather than a skin, anyone could use the postbit and it should match the colors of their board etc.

It's just at thought.
