flexx22 discovered that if you change the end of the navbar code to:

Code:
/vBChat.php?&do=main&nojoin=1
vBChat will load up.

I don't understand, what is this designed to fix? vb chat works fine for me in IE.

There are several threads in here from people who have users that cannot connect with IE, they get a long blank page follow by Page Cannot Be Found.

This change corrects that problem.

At least for the people I know about.

Hmm fix isn't working for me.

Any more suggestions? lol. :disappointed:

Where do I change this? I am in navbar code and if I added this line to the end. It just writes up as a text in all my forum pages, right below the forum navigation bar.
So where should I put this code?
Please give me more details. I have the same problem, my vbchat page is loading blank.

I have the hack working fine in the first skin I added it to (not the VB default skin) but the others wont work.

When I enter through these skins it opens to the infamous blank window. If I revert back to my default skin the chat works and I can see each time I've tried to enter the room!

Very unusual. If it was an IE issue it shouldnt work at all. I have two similar skins and it works fine on one but not on the other even though I've duplicated the code?

Why would the hack only work on the first skin its added too? I dont understand but I'll keep plugging away and maybe somebodies found out more since the last posting on this subject?

I should also add that its a nice chatroom and I'm definately stoked with it so compliments to the chef! I just need to work out this one hiccup and its smilies all round

Also......if you are in the active skin, and inside the chatroom (opened in a blank windo) everything is fine.

Change the skin on your board and the chat crashed in the seperate window (goes blank). Very unusual
