newsletter for specific forum without registration

Would it be possible for me to add a newsletter subscription for my announcements forum?

What I mean is, I want to a field on the frontpage (non-vb) where the user just enters their email address, and they will be emailed a newsletter everytime a thread is made in the news announcements forum.

I need this to be done without the user having to register.

What I mean is that unregistered users can enter their email to subscribe to the specific forum, and they will receive an email everytime a new thread was made.
